The center for Law & Bioethics of Genomic Research is an academic research institution, created in 2020.

Mission

Our mission is the legal support of accelerated development and application of genomic technologies.

Our goals

Goal A: To analyze Russian legislation on the development and application of genomic technologies and protection of genomic information.

Goal B: To conduct comparative research on

– legislation of different states which are leaders in genomic research;

– international standards and practices on the application of genomic technologies.

Goal C: To put forward proposals for improving Russian legislation in the field of the development and application of genomic technologies, including drafting of laws and regulations.
